Armenian Revolutionary Federation

The Armenian Revolutionary Federation was founded in 1890. Ideologically, the ARF is a nationalistic, socialistic, and democratic organization. Today, the ARF is one of three parties of the ruling coalition government of the Republic of Armenia. The ARF is also a full member of the Socialist International.

The Supreme Goals of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation are:

The goal of the ARF Rosdom Gomide is to expand the idea of social, political, and economic liberation of the Armenian people in the Diaspora and Armenia within San Fernando valley. ARF will promote the goals of a Free, Independent, and United Armenia and the just recognition of the Armenian Genocide

San Fernando valley is situated 15 miles north of Los Angeles down town . The Armenian population grew during 1950's.Huge number of members were living in the SF Valley. Therefore in 1957 after due and proper procedure The ARF "Apovian" Gomide was established by thr following 10 members:

1. Dr.Haig Jerahian
2. Levon Antreassian
3. Kegham Keghag
4. Armen Derderian
5. Haig Kilikian
6. Ghevont Boyadjian
7. Kerop Talanian
8. Krikor Keossian
9. Harutiun Sarkissian
10. Hampartzoum Avakian
11. Siranoush Gulesserian

Later 7 more members joined the gomide and they were: Yeghia Malkhassian, Garabed Keshishian, Sarkis Vartabedian, Sarkis Bedkejian, Avedis Haygazian & Kevork Feroian, Thus the total number of ungers became 18. 

In 1970 the Gomide was renamed "Rosdom". Today the number of members is far higher and many sister organizations were created to facilitate the task.
